Dr. Phil Metzger is a planetary physicist and former NASA Kennedy Space Center researcher known for co-founding KSC Swamp Works, NASA’s innovation lab focused on advanced exploration technologies. Named NASA Scientist/Engineer of the Year in 2011, his research focuses on lunar surface physics, space mining, in-situ resource utilization, and enabling sustainable human exploration beyond Earth.
